Healthy or Unhealthy
All food is healthy! What is
unhealthy is the way it's cooked and the quantities
consumed. We can have our chips and cream cakes ... just
not every day. Balance is the key – as long as we treat
our diets sensibly, try not to overeat and keep walking
the dog, we'll all be just dandy.

'Cheffy' advice is
always to use the best, freshest ingredients. You hear
this on all the food programmes and read it in the many
magazines, and nobody could possibly argue against it,
could they? Well you could if your purse is all but empty
and you don't know your stockpot from your elbow. I've
been pretty strapped for cash at times and came to regard
it as a bit of a challenge to produce a good satisfying
meal from the most basic materials. With a little
know-how, so can anybody!
